Established in 1965 by Mrs. Regina Story, the MacArthur Cardettes made their debut to MacArthur High School and the community of Irving, TX. Cardettes have been know to show grace, energy, and high-spirit on and off the field. They have joined their Irving community in many events and parades. Putting on great shows during football and competition season there has always been anticipation for the Cardettes to come with unique and talented routines. To this very day, they still uphold the legacy that has been created by past Cardettes.

In 2022, The Cardettes made history, by hiring their First African American Drill Team Director, Ms. Neosha White. The Cardettes continue to perform astounding routines and participate in making their Irving Community a better place. Incorporating new programs such as the Mini Cardette Camp to encourage those young inspiring dancers, volunteering at Irving events, and always supporting those other organizations in the Irving ISD district. The MacArthur Cardettes are a one of kind drill team that not only performs on the dance floor and football field but also within the community.
